I love this mop and trust me I have gone through some expensive floor cleaning machines. The last one being the Hoover one that has a dry vac, wet clean and wet pick up and it doesnt compare to this. With a 2 year old, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a husband who always has his shoes on, its a blessings. It dries so quick. I am finally not turning into psycho exorcist woman yelling at everyone to stay off the floor until it dries now because its dry in seconds. I will agree with others that on some of the nooks and crannies on the tiles it takes a little more elbow work. As an adamant broom fanatic, I've long stood by the fix of a quick sweep. With the exception of major spills, there was no way I was going to take the time of filling a bucket loaded with hot water and toxic chemicals and get down on my knees to scrub a floor.
The Steam Mop is extremely easy to use and takes away the annoyance factor when it comes to cleaning floors. After a quick sweep, I was able to clean my one-bedroom apartment in about 20 minutes and only had to refill twice. No longer will I neglect my floors for months on end.
I'm actually looking forward to washing the pads and giving it another go!

I bought this item after watching an infomercial. It works great. I use it to clean up after my messy 2 and 4 year olds at the dinner table and around the house. I have ceramic tile and vinyl floors that are light in color so I can see the difference. No, it doesn't clean out the grout like one person stated, but honestly, that requires a whole new job altogether or a professional. It dries fast and there are no chemicals to worry about. It does require some muscle, but I find if you pump in more steam it makes gliding the mop across the floor easier. It leaves no streaks or films and best of all no mop and bucket to worry about.Customer Review: Fun mop

All I can say is it's so much fun I don't feel like I'm cleaning at all. I live in a big house, with wood floors, and I feel like I am running out of floors to mop. My girls keep fighting over who gets to help me mop, they love it too. I only wish it came with disposable pads, and could clean around toilets like the H20 mop. I asked for that one, but my mother in law got me this, but thats o.k. I still love it. I hate dirty mops and buckets, so I have been mopping with diaper wipes and my bare feet for years, and I have taken off toenails!. So this mop is a lifesaver for me.Customer Review: Love it!!!

So I bought the steam mop about a month ago on a whim. I had used sponge & traditional mops in the past & my floors were still dirty afterward.
After using the steam mop I sprayed a typical house cleaner on the floor & wiped it up and the towel was spotless!! Now, I do clean my floors often so they're never terribly dirty. But I'm always suprised what it picks up and in higher traffic areas I do go over it twice, the second time with a clean pad. But it's still much quicker than traditional mops and the floors dry incredibly quick! It's a keeper for me.
