Customer Review: Handy, Inexpenisive and Efficient!

I bought this steamer hoping it would get the job done ( the job being my kitchen floor that had some sort of gluey mess all over it, i tried MANY products and none of them produced any results) . The steamer was even better then i expected. My floor looks like its been replaced and I dont think im gonna have to clean it again in months ( if i spill something i just clean the spot that needs cleaning).
My only complaint would be that you have to keep refilling it. It only hold so much water and then you have to wait a little so it cools down then you fill it and THEN you have ot wait for it to heat up. My kitchen (which is fairly small) took about five refills of the steam machine to clean up (keep in mind though that it was a heavy duty job). I also used it on my mirrors and my stove, my counters and the bathroom. Does this steam machine replace all the cleaners you usually buy? No, not all of them but most of them. It comes with many attachments that will be useful for MANY things. Its fairly priced (very inexpensive)and its is efficient (it yields results). Also, when you steam clean keep a rag, towel or paper towel(s) nearby because it does the job but then your left with a pile of warm filthy water that needs to be dried and picked up. I don't use the steam cleaner everyday but at this price, its good to have a round for those messy jobs that it make so much easier.

I bought this product for the purpose of cleaning my parrot's cage. I was looking for an alternative to the chemicals (potentially toxic odors) or the soap and water (very messy) that is usually recommended to clean the cage.
The product works pretty well, and leaves the cage and perches looking very clean. I still have to put in a little 'elbow grease' to get some of the more caked on poop - which is normal, and I'm a little concerned that sometimes the steam doesn't seem quite as hot as I hope for which brings up the question of actually sanitizing the cage. Also, the product itself is a little cumbersome/clumsy to work with around a cage, and I wish the little scrubber attachment were a little bigger.
However, having said that, I am able to clean the cage in about 1/2 the time (used to take me easily 45 min. to an hour to get it sparkly clean), there is no chemical odor and no soap and water mess. And, when the steam is at it's optimum, between the heat and pressure, the soiled areas nearly blast off and then easily wipe clean and dry. All in all, a reasonable investment. :)

I bought this used and just took it for a test run. Started in the Bathroom attempting to combat mold and scum in the shower. Not very impressed with this task, ran out of steam in about 20 minutes and it did not remove the mold. I think alot of my problem is hard water residue and it did come with instructions for this scenario.
I then took to the Kitchen - WOW! Changed my opinion quickly! I used it to clean the baseboard areas and cracks and crevices on my stove/microwave. I couldn't believe how it blasted the stuff and I just wiped up the gunk! Next I am going to tackle the Referigerator!!
I think this is a great tool with the appropriate task - not the bathroom. I bought a B&D scum buster for the shower and hope to be more succesful.
I recommend this - I bought mine on ebay for $20.00 with all accesories and works great!

I used this to clean my kitchen sink around the faucet. It took the grime off that had been there awhile. The dirt and grime comes loose really easily and a lot better if you use the small brush attachment and scrub a little around the edges of the faucet. I also cleaned around my toilet seat in those hard-to-get places where the seat is screwed on. I have small boys who are potty training so this I was looking for somemthing to blast the germs away and this seemed to do the trick.
The only complaint I have so far, is that I wish it held more water. It seemed like it didn't last that long and then you have to remove all the pressure and let it cool down before removing the lid.
Overall, I am pleased with this.

I seldom review products but after using this a bit, I feel compelled to do so. I want to start by saying I think this is a pretty good cleaner as long as you know what to expect. The shark does not get hot enough to get rid of the baked on mess on your stove or anything really sticky. This steamer does a great job of general cleaning without the use of any chemicals. If you have white cabinets and lots of moulding around door frames etc, this thing is GREAT. It blasts all the dust and dirt that settles on them and makes it easy to clean. All in all, I'd say this is a pretty good cleaner, just don't expect miracles.
