The Monster Floor EZ1 Steam Mop and Floor Cleaner is a MUST in every household.
This steam mop is absolutely amazing! It delivers such an intense heat, but you are able to modify the temperature (as some types of floors, such as bamboo, can be damaged by too much heat). The tiles in my kitchen floor did not require more than level 3 (out of 4) and the water tank lasted for about 30 minutes!! There is no 'trigger' to press for the mop to produce steam (contrary to Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop). Once you release the handle from its upright lock position it will begin to steam constantly until you lock the handle back upright. However, there is a trigger for additional spurts of steam in hard to reach areas (corners) or for sticky messes. The cords at 25 feet long is way longer than most kitchens need, but this comes really handy when steaming the carpets.
Even with a tank full of water the equipment is not heavy and glides smoothy over any surface (tile, hardwood, carpet...). Surfaces are dry in a matter of seconds after mopping a section (The Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop left my floors soaking wet, took about 5 hours everything to dry). After just one quick use, my floors were sparkling clean.
This unit with pay for itself with all the cleaning solution that I won't have to buy ever again. I am incredibly happy with this purchase. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is the 3rd floor steamer I have owned. The first was a Eureka Enviro-steamer - had it for several years and loved it - then it broke. They don't seem to make them anymore. Next I bought a Lysol steam-mop. Don't bother. It's a glorified Swiffer. Flimsy, water us barely hot - not really steam, very short cord, and every time I filled it it would promptly relieve itself on the floor. Junk.
Then I bought the Monster. It's very much like the Enviro-steamer. Light comes on when steam is ready. Cool feature is that the steam only comes out when you lower the handle. Steam is hot and does a great job on my tile floors. The cord is longer than most other steamers. The water heats in just a few minutes and I can steam about 1500 sf of tile in 2 fills of the tank - and steaming is way faster than mopping. Yes - you do have to vacuum or sweep first. This isn't meant to pick up debris. And yes - there is a 'steamy' scent as you mop - but it goes away pretty quickly.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is supposed to do light steam cleaning on carpets too (with the sledge) but it did nothing on my carpets and it doesn't get under the cabinets too well due to the height of the boiler. Oh well. Minor stuff for an overall great floor cleaner.

This little cleaner is awesome!! And I mean awesome! I only use it on tile, so keep that in mind, but it does a WONDERFUL job. The steam powerfully removes dirt and dried on stuff. I was so impressed the first time I used it and that feeling continues. There's very little "scrubbing" involved, just pushing - and that's not too hard, though a little harder than a regular mop. The beauty is that you don't feel like you're pushing dirt around the floor like you do with a regular mop. It really seems to come up and stick to the microfiber cloth (I always vacuum before mopping too). I even did a paper towel test on a section of tile that I'd mopped with the Monster - no dirt on the paper towel. Now that's impressive. It does take about 5 minutes to heat up when filled with cold water, the handle is a little flimsy for my taste, and yes, it doesn't reach all the way under cabinets because of the way it's designed, but the cleaning power outweighs any of these issues. Hope this helps someone make a great decision. A clean floor with little effort and no choking chemicals. You can't beat that.Customer Review: Good Bye Mop!

I love my new Monster. I have about 2000sq ft of tile in my house and used to spend 2 or more hours mopping my floors. Now my floor cleaning time is cut in half, plus my back does not kill me afterwards.
I had been looking at buying a steam mop when a friend of mine said she had bought the Monster and loved it. So I looked at the reviews on Amazon and decided to go ahead and purchase the Monster. The Monster does all the work for you. The steam does a great job of cleaning. The first time I used the Monster I thought this was too easy and must not being doing that great of a job. When I finished I took a Clorox wipe and wiped it over a tile to see if it was clean. The wipe came up clean. The Monster really works.
For the reviews that say the handle is flimsy, the first piece of paper that you see in the box has a big X over someone pushing down on the Monster handle and says let the Monster do the work for you. So if you follow the instructions your handle should not break.

Throw away your mops - wow = this is a superior product.
I tried the Bissel Steam Mop "Green Tea" - which left the kitchen floor so wet,it couldn't be walked on for an hour. It was returned the next day!
The Monster Floor EZ1 Steam Mop and Floor Cleaner is POWERFUL - press the handle trigger/lever and it emits steam through the front nozzles. I don't think there is another brand of steam mop that provides both bottom and front steam emission.
The "Monster" heats up quickly (less than 5 minutes). It does not emit steam unless you tilt the handle downwards toward you. The cord is extra long with "hooks" on the handle for winding it. The only thing better would be a "retractable" cord - (I'm dreaming!)
The Monster Customer Service folks are top notch, with a wealth of knowledge about their products.
Select this above the others on the market and you will be glad you did.
