We can attest to these traps working great on gophers. We have caught over 220 on our 5-1/2 acres in the last 3 years. We just bought two more to have as back-up when parts fail on the other 5 traps we own. We use to have 6 traps until the hubby ran over one with the garden tractor so please mark them with flags if you have a lot of property for ease of locating the traps again (and to keep running them over with the mower).

I've had problems with moles tearing up my yard for years, and I've tried just about everything. I've tried the old style plunger traps, fancy scissor traps, poison gas, etc, and have never had any success in catching anything. I bought a couple of these Black Hole traps based on the positive user reviews, and I have been thrilled with the results. I've caught three moles in the past week, and I can't recommend these enough.Customer Review: These work great...

These work just great. Similar to a mouse trap but inside a tube. The cable holds the victim very securely but is frequently not fatal. If you don't have a dog or cat waiting to assist, you will have to deal with the critter yourself. If you do have a dog then your traps may disappear once they contain a gopher. One thing is certain; I did not, nor would I ever, pay $25 for one of these. It is a $10 product. Buyer beware.Customer Review: A great trap for Moles

I have tried several methods of trapping moles on my property, however none can even compare to the Black Hole. I ordered it out of frustration with other methods and it has me convinced! Over the past year I have trapped over 12 moles within just a few hours of setting the trap. Today I caught two within 1 hour. This sucker is hands down the best gopher trap ever made. For those critics saying that it only gets small gophers, you haven't learned to trick of "backing" it with a small rock. I've experienced about a 98% success rate over the last 18 months. If the trap is tripped, there's a dead gopher's butt sticking out the end of it almost every time!
I swear by this trap hands down!!!
