Customer Review: The better option

I used to use my Dads Flowbee when I was in High School back in 1990 (it still works). When I joined the military, I no longer had the time nor the inclination to cut my own hair, and at $6 a pop, I was sold. Now I pay $12 per haircut, and so I recently did a search for a new Flowbee. Next thing you know I got "sold" on the Robocut. It was supposed to be a better product, and for less money to boot. The piece of junk arrived brand new with a piece of plastic that had chipped off via shipping. The haircuts took a whole lot longer and gave my final haircut, a feathered look. The bottom line, is don't waste your money on an inferior product like Robocut. Stick to the Flowbee. I guess father knows best...Customer Review: Great product, great price

I bought a Flowbee six years ago and I love this product. I paid about $45 brand-new through a catalog. Yes, it does give a great haircut and it is easy to use. The haircut looks professional and no one can tell the difference. Additionally, the way the product is made: it is very difficult to give yourself a bad haircut so there is no risk in the product.
The worst thing about the flowbee is the embarassment of anyone knowing that you use it. But once you get over the embarassment of the purchase, its ok. No one needs to know that you use it. The product is well worth the cost.
I love this thing. I would recommend it!!

I have had the Flowbee for over a month now and have cut my two year old's hair twice and my own hair twice in that time. The Flowbee is very easy to assemble and use. It works great!!!! The Flowbee gives a nice layered even hair cut that looks like you just stepped out of the salon. With only using it four times so far it has already paid for itself. I'm looking forward to many years of Flowbee haircuts!
My only regret is not purchasing the Flowbee vacuum with this. It works fine connecting to my vacuum but the small vacuum they offer would be a lot less cumbersome.

My brother has had one of these things for well over 15 years, and it is just now starting to show wear. He uses it on himself and his son. He once did an entire boy's soccer team in one sitting. And there was the legendary occasion where we trimmed the dog.
My brother uses his Shop Vac for the vaccuum so the noise is pretty significant. However the haircuts have been great. I have never been embearassed by my brother's hair since he got the Flowbee. Wish it worked on the rest of my baby brother!

I bought this Flowbee for my dogs. It worked absolutely amazingly!! I read that some people had issues with the spacers, but I found them sturdy and reliable. I recommend this product....but if your dog is afraid of the vacuum cleaner I would think twice. The first time we used it on the dogs they were skittish but as we used it more and more they got use to it. Now it is a cinch to cut their hair and we don't have to lug them to a groomer and pay the high cost growing fees.
