I ordered several of these smoke detectors to replace the hard wired (same brand) detectors that were in my house. They arrived and I was delighted that they hooked up and snapped in using my old mounting plates and electrical connections. I was up and running within minutes, and I am happy that I purchased bit photoelectric and Ion smoke detectors to detect both smoldering fires, and fires.
I am also happy with the price that I paid and the speed of delivery. I would recommend these detectors to anyone wanting hard-wired units with battery back-up.
