This safe worked fine for a few months. I had only opened the safe about 8-10 times and then the keypad stopped working. Replaced batteries etc. I then had to use the override key. Then the key got stuck and won't come out. So now the safe is totally useless. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm going to purchase a higher quality safe that opens with a combination lock. Please don't waste your money purchasing this safe.Customer Review: Poor Quality = Product Return

The saying you get what you pay for was written for this item. I was looking for an inexpensive safe and the Honeywell safe seemed to fit the bill. At less than $100 I knew it would not be the highest quality but I expected it to work. I managed to get the safe to work once and then the locking mechanism failed and it would not lock. I returned the product and am awaiting my refund.Customer Review: dont buy it

I could not bolt the safe to the floor because the hardware that came with it did not fit through the predrilled holes. It did not work when it arrived. I changed the circut board twice and it still will not work. The safe is now discontinued and I cannot exchange it. I can only open it with the key and a spare key is very costly to replace. Avoid this product.Customer Review: do not work at all

I bought this in octouber 2009 but install it just some days ago. When i wat changing my code the key did not come out. I called them and the only way would be send the unit to be changed. This would const more than a new one. So I will have to put this new unit on the trash and buy another one.

the safe itself is ok but the digital lock material is junk it took several phone calls to tech help and customer service to get every part relaced until the digital lock mechanism would work very lucky it has a key override I would not advise anyone to purchase this item unless you are capable of electrical repair I would never buy it again
