This was an added accessory to my smoke alarm at home. I have three of those--1 on each floor, so I needed to add a carbon monoxide alarm for added security. I hear it's one of the deadly killers in America and with a young son at home, I didn't wanna be without one. It's easy to install and its battery operated.Customer Review: Seems Fine

Product seems fine. My only regret, and not limited to this alarm, is the need to replace them from time-to-time (this one has a stated 5-year lifetime) and the bases on the replacements are all different, leading to a constant need to patch and repaint the areas where they are located.Customer Review: No alarms yet!

These seem like nice detectors. I put one on each level for added protection. There are some limitations on placement such as further than 5' from any cooking appliance, 20' from any gas burning appliance, etc. But, after figuring that out, mounting them was easy.Customer Review: seems to work ok

i've had this product for about 6 months and it seems to be fine. it has never sounded, which is a good thing for my health. honestly i guess i don't know if it even works. but it seems to be made of quality material and the battery still works 6 months later.Customer Review: Simple to install

I bought 2 because new regulations in my state require one within 10 feet of each bedroom and I'd only had one on the first floor before. Good price, easy to install.
