I use this in the garage. There is a door inside the garage going into the house. Whenever I need to go into the garage from the house, the light just outside this door and about 8' above me, goes on with no delay. I can just come and go without giving a thought to illumination. Great. Performs exactly as I had hoped.

I have a room in the basement where I keep my computer and when I leave the room at night, the light switch for the main basement is on the opposite wall. With this item, I don't have to feel my way around anymore. But, don't use an energy saving spiral bulb in this unit, it will just flash on and off, then the unit will quit working.Customer Review: Ingenious product!

I have and use several of these units which fill a special need and are very convenient, particularly in basement and garage areas. There is nothing else like this available on the market. Home Depot used to carry them, but doesn't anymore. It turns out with the price of gas that dealing through Amazon was cheaper and more convenient.Customer Review: I founded here

I bought this at a local store and loved, needed two more and could not find it anywhere locally. Great item works great no need to wire anything just change a light and you are ready to go. This motion sensor works great. I put mine in the bacement so by the time I get to the bottem of the stairs (presto) theres light. It is a simple device that will help with the dark places in the home. Just screw it into a light socket and screw your bulb into it then turn the light power on. Turns off automaticly. Thanks...
