Tools and Hardware Reviews of First Alert SA302CN Double Sensor Battery-Powered Smoke and Fire AlarmCustomer Review: nice to have a detector that will last more than a year Summary: 5 Stars
loud, easy to install, the test can be deactivated so that you can use your remote controls in the same room with this model, not as streamlined as other models, but not ugly, and doesn't standout enough to be a distraction, very pleased (hold in the test button at the same time you install the battery, that deactivates the test setting)
Customer Review: Look in the battery compartment! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the exact smoke alarm I was looking for. When we went to mount it, there were no screws. After we bought some, we later found the screws in the battery compartment when we went to put the battery in. The item is great, looks good (we wall-mounted it) and hopefully will never be put to use.
Customer Review: Great Detector Summary: 5 Stars
I just replaced the first one of these I bought 10 years ago. No problems whatsoever. Dual detectors are the way to go. You're covered against both types of residential fires. Fast burning and slow smoking ones. You should never rely on just one type of detector. Highly recommend this one.
Customer Review: Recommended Summary: 5 Stars
Simple, easy to install. Everyone should have a working smoke alarm and this one has the bonus carbon monoxide detection. The ability to test your system using your cable tv remote was something to amuse my friends...but actually it is very convenient.
Customer Review: Easy to Install Smoke Alarm Summary: 5 Stars
Reasonably priced and quite easy to put up on the ceiling (drill required). Thank goodness I have not had the need to test its functionality, but no home should be without several. All parts came with easy to read and understand instructions.
