This product is just what I needed! The kids at the park next door were using our faucet to drink out of and then leaving it on after they were done. Water is at a premium here in the desert, and our bill was very high. Neither Lowe's or Home Depot had any solutions to my problem. The lock came quickly after I ordered it, looks great, and works perfectly. Even if the faucet is turned on, it prevents any water from leaking out. It took about a minute to install (you just screw it on and lock it), and did not require any tools. None of the kids have been able to take it off or unlock it. When my wife called to tell me that we received a water bill 4 times as high as normal, on our vacant property I was steamed! Living in Arizona with so many vacant houses, I never realized the depths people would sink to in order to keep their swimming pools topped off. They think hey, its free water..., but when somebody has to pay for it, all bets are off.
After checking Lowes and Home Depot (couldn't find anything) I found this product and I love it! The design is smooth and unless you have a key, the barrels just spin freely on the faucet threads. You would have to take a hacksaw to the pipe to get it off.
We're going to keep these on all of our vacant properties from now on.

it works really well. it's so heavy duty and almost sexy. you can tell alot of thought has gone into this product.
i tried to turn the water on while the lock was on, no leaks! this is a really good product.
