Works in all conditions, hot or cold weather, and I love the automatic off. Yeah, sure, automatic off might be considered standard nowadays, and what of it. I'm old, see, and Flukes last a long time. My last Fluke I had forever (until I lost it) and that was always the biggest pia, I'd forget to turn it off and the battery would die. Somebody else may need more than this unit has to offer, but I ain't a scientist - just an independent electrical contractor, residential and commercial, and this unit suits my purposes wonderfully well.
