Please Note: Products are designed and rated for use in the United States using 120 volt current. With or without a transformer, this product is not recommended for use outside the US. Blacklight comes with UL Listed metal fixture and 18" long blacklight tube. For indoor use only. Plugs into any standard AC outlet. Power Cord is approximately 6.5' long. Can be mounted on the wall. Takes a 15-watt black light tube (type T8). Please Note: Blacklight fixture can only hold 1 blacklight, not 2 lights as pictured on the package image. Customer Review: If you want a blacklight...

If you want to purchase a blacklight, this is your simplest solution. I bought two of these and they are light enough to mount onto a wall with a lot of easily-removable two sided foam mounting tape. This is especially useful for college dorms where you can't exactly pound nails in the wall to mount your lighting and decoration.
The cords are shorter than you'd think, not too much so, but you'll have to mount these on the wall pretty much directly above an electrical outlet. If you're ceiling isn't too high, you shouldn't have a problem though.
They're very powerful blacklights, which is why I recommend them. With just one on at nighttime, every single speck of white glows with that fluorescence that tells you it's the real thing. Especially good if you have a Lava Lamp and some good posters, making them essential for any decor (especially if you're going for that retro, relaxed look).
