With this extra power pack, owners of Friendly Robotics Robomower never need worry about the lawn looking unkempt while the original battery recharges. With power equivalent to a 5.5 HP motor, the 24-volt battery is also a cinch to install. Simply drop the pack in and the mower is ready to go. The mower will run for 2-1/2 to 4 hours, cutting 4000 to 6000 square feet of grass on all terrains. Regularly-serviced batteries recharge in 6 hours, while completely depleted batteries take 24 hours. Batteries have a shelf life of 2 to 4 years on average. One of my neighbors looked at my Friendly Robotics mower and said, "That's not very macho." But when I pop the battery I bought from Amazon into the mower, start it up, grab a beer and go in to watch the ball game there's nothing more macho. It's especially true when I look out the window at the neighbor riding his Macho Mower around in the hot sun. I toast him with my brew and go back to the game while my Robotic Mower deals with both the grass and the hot sun!
