after carefull consideration i bought thid from amazon now i live in trinidad thats in the carribean and it cast me much less to buy it here... the heat he have over here is nun compare and this lil babyy keeps me cool all the time its not as loud as it sounds all the sensors work and the eneerdy saver is most surprising overall its a great unit for a small roon inexpensive and reliable..... i recommend itCustomer Review: Keeping Cool in the heat

Actually bought this for a family member in need who lives in the deep south. They have a very small home and are able to use this unit to cool an office/bedroom area. It works great, not too noisy, keeping things cool and making life more comfortable.
We plan to buy one for ourselves for hurricane season to use with our generator for power outages.

This is a great little unit. It keeps a small room cold during the summer. The only gripe I have is that the listed dimensions are incorrect! The width is 16", not 15.5"! I'm trying to find a unit that can fit into a narrow window; this unit, unfortunately, is a half-inch too big.
