Installing the unit is made easy with the avaible Window Mounting Kit and filter cleaning is a snap with the tilt-out filter access feature. I had this unit installed in the fall. The heating function works great. Keeps the room nice and warm while it is 35 outside. I like the idea of the energy saving feature. The fan comes on every 10 minutes for 2 minutes, to keep the air circulating. The fan does not run constantly unless the unit is actively heating or cooling. I do wish the energy saver feature would use a lower fan setting for the 2 minute air circulating feature. It tends to be a bit louder than it otherwise would be, but not a major fault. I love the included remote. You can access all the features from the comfort of your chair/bed. At this time, I have no real compliants about the product. If there should be any problems in the future, I will let people know what they are.
