I got these for about 2 months now. I use it frequently and have not needed to change battery yet.
I use it to clip on to my laptop because the light on the laptop for keyboarding is too dim.
I also use it to tell bedtime story to my 3yr old. He thinks it pretty fun especially when we shine it onto popup books to make shadow on the wall.

The booklight exceeded my expectations. It is great to have it. I am using it when I read before going to bed, but don't want my husband to be disturbed. The light covers only the book, not the surroundings. It is easy to navigate from page to page with more than sufficient light.
I should have bought it a long time ago.

Got these for my kids for Christmas and they use them nightly. They've taken them camping, packed them in suitcases, and of course, leave them laying on the floor and stuffed under pillows and such, and they still hold their shape when bent for reading and other tasks. This is the best, by far, of the book lights I and my wife have used over the years. It has enough power to provide light on the entire reading area, the clamp keeps the light securely where one wants it, and the device seems strong enough to withstand occasional problems such as falling asleep when reading and turning over on the book and light.Customer Review: Perfect!

I have this light clipped to my baby's crib and it's absolutely perfect for late night diaper changes. It's just bright enough that I can see what Im doing, it's easy to angle it away from his face and put the light only where it's needed, and it's easy to turn on and off one handed. I know this is not its intended use, but it's working great.
