Be sure to buy 2 gloves! I love them. I am very clumsy and burn my hands a lot when pulling things from the oven and microwave. These gloves cover the backs of my hands and prevent me from hitting them on the top metal rack in the oven. It also makes it easier to pull things out. I am able to get a better grip on slick glass dishes (less likely to drop them all over the floor). I can usually feel the heat through other gloves and it always scares me. I can not feel any heat at all through these gloves. I highly recommend these.
