FXUSC Features: -Water filter.-The GE FXUSC water filters reduce sand, soil, silt, sediment and rust.-The GE FXUSC replacement water filter cartridges fit in whole house water filter systems and reverse osmosis systems for 10'' x 2.5'' filters.-This filter is also known as the GE FXUSC rev. 2 model, as it replaces the GE FXUSC filter that came before it. The original GE FXUSC filter had a 5 micron rating whereas this filter has a 30 micron rating.-The GE FXUSC fits most major brands of household water filter systems for 10'' x 2.5'' filters including the Whirlpool WHCF-WHWC.-Micron Rating (Nominal): 30. I am going to review on the filter and not the shipping. The filter can be bought at home depot for about [...] for 2. It is the BEST filter I have had. I have tried many other filters since I have brown water. This is the only filter to catch the vast majority of the sediment. I have to change it once a week (I have seriously dirty water) - but I went from having dirt stained toilets and tubs, and dirt on the rim when cooking in a pot to clean water. Do a double filter system where this is the first filter, and the second filter is finer (and more expensive), and the water is pretty much as clean as city water!
