Stackable Round Ottomans
Made of a dense, grassy-textured renewable plant fiber, Rush Ottomans are tightly woven around a sturdy wood frame that's lightly cushioned on top. The set of three are sized S-M-L and invisibly store inside of each other. Rich in user-friendly possibilities, they can be used as extra seating, compact tables, footrests, or simple stylish accent pieces. Color may vary slightly.

Medium: 12"H x 14" diameter.
Large: 14"H x 17.5" diameter.

Customer Review: Very versatile furniture
Summary: 5 Stars
We owned a set of these from 2005 to 2010 and just purchased a second set (both purchased from Gaiam). This is possibly the best furniture we've ever owned. Here's why:
Very light: This means they are easy to move around the house.
Many uses: Foot rests, stools, tables, and (for 3-7 year olds) chairs.
Inexpensive: These did wear out after 5 years (see below) but to replace them with something longer lasting would cost much more, and would be less functional because it would be too heavy to move around. That would probably mean owning several types of items to duplicate the same functionality - the fact that these were so light is why we used them for so many different functions.
The one downside is they are made of straw so they do wear out. We used them daily and had an energetic kid who has used and abused them extensively. The largest size lasted us 5 years, and it looks like the medium size will go 6 years, while the small size with its tighter weave will last possibly as long as 10 years.
Given how inexpensive and useful these are, we'll probably just buy another set every 5 years or so, though that I guess that means we'll eventually have a lot of the smaller size, which seems to last much longer.
