A great little gadget. I spend part of each year living at a rural retreat center, where I need a flashlight every night for walking around (unless the moon is full), and this is perfect.
I was sick of having to replace the batteries in other mini-flashlights (finding the right kind of batteries, spending more money on them, and accumulating dead batteries that aren't supposed to go in the regular trash because of their toxic chemicals). This flashlight has a solar cell on one side that charges its batteries. I just put it in a sunny window for a few hours once or twice a week.
The flashlight is a little bigger than the remote for my car, and the two LED lights are nice and bright. (At first I was disappointed by the brightness, but it turned out I hadn't given the batteries a long enough initial charge.) I've dropped the flashlight a couple of times, and that doesn't seem to have bothered it.
P.S. When this flashlight died after about a year and a half, I bought a similar solar-charged keychain flashlight from another company, and I like it too.
