I like the fact that the spade and rake are one cast piece. Other tools with wooden attached handles always fail. The shears are sharp with a strong spring steel coil rather than a conventional spring. It includes two shear types the anvil and the bypass. The Anvil should be used for pre-cuts, old branches and cuttings for the fireplace. You don't want to use it for pruning as it will tend to crush the branch. The Bypass can do all these too, but you should use it only to prune so that the edge stays sharp a long time. A nice set with a handy bag.
