Very happy with this product. I have a long dryer run (~28 feet) that had not been cleaned since I moved in a few years ago and I knew it was accumulating lint. I purchased this product and got to work. As others have noted, you need to be careful about how you attach the extensions. Don't add then all at once and then try to fed the extension in. I did one section at a time, fed it in, stopped the drill, disconnected the drill, added the next extension, reattached the drill. Worked like a charm. I also cleaned from both ends to make sure I got everything. Take the time to do this since you'll be surprised how much lint there is.
A couple things to note. Doing this will deplete a drill battery in no time. I burned through 2 18v batteries cleaning my vent. Maybe sure your batteries are fully charged before you start.

This product is the real deal. It works just as advertised and the amount of lint that came out of my 10 year old dryer vent was amazing. My DeWalt 18V drill spun the brush with no problems and the brush does an excellent job of self-feeding itself. The shop vac attachment for the dryer is designed for a larger sized hose than my vac has so I sealed my hose to the attachment with duct tape and the vac did a great job of reverse flowing lint out as the brush was operating....watch out for that first blast of lint blowing out on your first pass. The included length of rods was just enough to reach my dryer. I've ordered and received the extension kit to clean my parents' dryer. I highly recommend the cleaning kit and it'll be part of my home's yearly maintenance. Get one and you may just prevent a fire with it.Customer Review: Works Like Magic!

I could not have asked for a better product. The vent was so clogged with lint and airflow so restricted that the dryer was overheating and shutting down. This thing pulled enough lint from my 25' of venting to half fill a white, kitchen trash bag. I was astounded by the amount of lint this thing pulled out.
Very easy to use, it worked its way through six corners with ease. I took about 40 minutes to finish, including cleaning from both directions. The only small complaint I have is that the shopvac adapter is big, bigger than most household vacuum hoses and the hose of my smaller shopvac. A bit of duct tape quickly remedied the mismatch, though.
I can't remember the last time I was this satisfied with a product that does exactly what it claims to do.

I purchased this kit plus extensions to clean a completely clogged up 30ft long duct.After running the clog removal tool and removing a couple of heavily compacted lint and hair balls I ran the bristle though the duct and removed like one grocery bag worth of lint and loose debris.
Now the dryer will work..before it won't even heat the clothes because of some fire prevention interlock on the dryer was activated by the obstruction.
My only complaint is that the last rod broke but I have to concede that I was running quite a bit of torque at that moment because of how compact the clog was.
All in all a recommended tool just make sure to use the clog removal tool first because the cleaning bristle is not intended to be used as a clog remover.

I had been struggling with having to run at least 2 cycles in my dryer for every single load of laundry I did. Doing laundry had become an all-day event and that's just ridiculous, really!! I purchased the LintEater after searching for cleaning solutions for the dryer vent/duct. My home has an underground, very long (about 25') duct to the outside and the LintEater worked beautifully for that. If you follow all the instructions as they come, you should not have any problems in cleaning the duct. We took around 2 lbs. (yes, you read it right... 2 lbs!!!) of lint from the duct and I was amazed to have dried a load of sheets and towels in less than 40 minutes! Amazing results for sure! I can't wait to see how much I will save on the gas bill! Definitely recommend!
