I got these to put in my kitchen and i love them,they are very bright and don't give off much heat like the incandescents did.they are a little slow to get to full brightness when it's cold but that doesn't bother me since i am saving on power and not having all that heat dumped into my home, I've replaced all my bulbs with GE cfl bulbs.Customer Review: No Difference

These energy efficient light bulbs give just as much light as an ordinary 100 watt bulb. Energy Smart Spiral bulbs take a few seconds to reach peak brightness, but after that I can tell no difference between the amount of light they give and the amount an ordinary 100 watt bulb gives.Customer Review: Long Life Bulb
