Single channel transmitter, will operate 1 garage door opener or gate opener. I purchased a new house that only had one remote control with the garage door. I took it into Home Depot & Lowe's and they said I would have to spend $30-$50 on a remote to work with my garage door. According to the specs this remote should have worked. Sure enough it was EXTREMLEY easy to sync up with my receiver and works great. I am very pleased.
