I picked this up on one of Amazon's deals of the day, so it was heavily discounted. I haven't owned a new knife in about 10 years, so I have been pleasantly surprised with the sharpness of the blade. The knife is also sturdy, and I like that the long blade runs most of the length of the handle. It feels good in the hand, and has slightly more heft than I expected, which is great. It's not a big knife by any means, but not too small to feel good handling.Customer Review: My Dad loves this old style knife

I bought this knife for my dad for fathers day (from Amazon of course).
He loved it and said it reminded him of the knife he had as a kid (which he lost as a youth).
The real "stag" handle is very unique making every knife different.
I will be buying one for my uncle next.

I bought this knife a few months back at Gander Mountain and I like it.
Wish I would have known Amazon handled this item before I paid $35 at Grander.
The case is OK but what "girly man" keeps his knife in a bag?

From the Stag handle to the locking main blade this knife is a keeper. No slack when blade is locked, very tight. I highly recommend! And guess what..It's not made in China!!!
