Each knife is made from a single piece 420 stainless steel and measures 8-1/2-Inch overall in length. Customer Review: Great Quality Throwing Knives - Highly Recommended!

This Gil Hibben "Small Competition Triple Thrower Set" is a very good, high quality starter set for those wanting to learn or practice knife throwing. We bought these to augment the 3 Pieces Black Spider Throwing Knife Set 6" Overall Length set we already have, but these are much higher quality. We also have several other Hibben throwers and I have posted comparison a picture in the "Customer Images" section. Throwing has made a surprisingly enjoyable addition to our workouts and my son and I are actually getting fairly accurate. Here are my observations:
+ Well Balanced; easy to find the balance point, very near the midpoint
+ Good Heavy Weight; heavy enough to stick in a pine board when thrown from 10' - 12'
+ Quality Metal; tips have held up well, despite having hit the floor more than a few times
+ Leather Belt Sheath; good quality and has snap to hold blades in place
These are specialty knives that are customized for throwing, and work well for both straight and rotation release. The blades do not ship overly sharp, but take an edge reasonable well.
Recommended! I also picked up The Complete Knife Throwing Guide - Third Edition to help us prefect our technique.
