This was the best price I found on the net. Most are in the $100+ range. I was delighted to see these. It did have a plastic smell when I first got them out but quickly went away. I love the smaller one. If you just got this, the price would be worth it but you get two! It is sturdy and has a nice cushion for sitting or as a footrest. It has a "plus" stitching on the top and extends all the way down. The bigger one is sturdy also. I am able to sit on it and it doesn't "sink". It smooth w/no stitching like the smaller one. The tray is in dark wood finish. Mines had white marks on it but easily cleaned up. I should mention that the smaller one fits into the larger one for easy hide away. I am planning to get another set. With 2 larger ones put together, it'll make a nice bench or a coffee table. It matches nicely with my real leather sofa, recliners and chairs.Customer Review: Great value!!!

After reading several reviews, I was hesitant about ordering because of scent issues. Since I was using a gift certificate, I decided I'd try anyway, and I am so pleased that I did. These give a modern feel to our entertainment room and I have storage for DVDs and board games. The smaller ottomans are a perfect size for sitting on when I have parties at our house too! I did notice a slight smell, but only because I was trying to find it after reading other reviews. In fact, I was hosting a holiday party to begin 3 hours after they were delivered, and everyone commented on them and said nothing about a smell. They're great!Customer Review: No complaints here

I have been looking for nice, serviceable ottomans FOREVER and have been shocked at how expensive they are. This set was a great price, and I find both to be of higher than anticiapted quality. The large is really quite large--I'm using it as a table/ottoman in my living, with all my evening craft projects hiding inside. It's a bit high to put your feet up on, depending on your sofa height, but I'm managing to enjoy that anyway. The smaller one is a permanent fixture in my library. I noted the "unpacking" odor, but it was literally a matter of minutes and the smell was gone. I'm very, very happy with this product.Customer Review: Just as described

This is truly a really nice set of ottomans. The largest one I am using as a table in our living room, the smaller one I am using as a table in my bedroom. There was a little odor as reported by others, but really not much and it was gone after removing the plastic from shipping and airing it out for a while. The stitching detail is really nice and not seen in anything else but high end and high price items I have seen elsewhere. Absolutely nothing wrong with this set. I purchased this because it fit perfectly with the decor in my living room.
I needed storage to keep books out of sight, a place to put a small blanket for those cool evenings, and a tray to put food and drinks on since I don't have a coffee table. I love it and can't imagine how I managed without it.
Others have said that it had an odor when they opened the box so I left the box outside for a couple of days before bringing it in and now it's fine.
