I purchased these as an alternative to a coffee table. I LOVE THEM! They are very versatile and allow storage and seating at the same time..I actually ordered 2 sets. As the other reviews state, they do have a slight odor when they arrive, however, after pledge wipes the smell is virtually gone....I highly recommend theseCustomer Review: Great Buy

I am very excited about my new ottoman. I store throw blankets and pillows for the living room in the large ottoman and my husband & I use the smaller one with the chairs in our living room. If I want to de-clutter the living room I can store the small ottoman inside the larger one!

I am very happy with this purchase. These make nice "extra" seats, and I can also store blankets or other things inside the larger one. The tray is also a nice bonus... I have used it to eat breakfast in bed. The only other thing I might mention is that these are VERY DARK brown, they look almost black.Customer Review: These are SO nice!

Really a great purchase! I bought 2 sets and love them. They did have a slight smell to them, but I just aired them out overnight in the cold and now they are fine. I recently purchased two of these sets and absolutely love them. I personally have no problem with the "smell". It is not strong at all and goes away quickly. I have them lined up at the foot of my bed. The chocolate color is really pretty! I highly recommend these ottomans!
