Yes, this is faux-leather. But at this price, did you really think you'd get a real leather bench??
This was a good deal for it's size, well packaged and shipped quickly with Prime. The storage area was adequate enough to put 7 pairs of mens shoes, it's a great bench to put by the front door.
Easy to assemble, comes with all hardware and the tool needed. The legs screw in and then you secure them with some washers and screws.
