Customer Review: reasonable fluorescent bulbs

They take a second or two to turn on, but once on give off a nice warm light. I have had no problems with flickering after about a month of use. I also purchased the 'cool white' variety (which are harsh and much bluer), and highly recommend the 'soft white' over those. If fitting them in a fixture keep in mind that these bulbs are slightly bigger and squarer than normal incandescents (however the 60-Watt version is much much tinier).Customer Review: Nice but a bit of adjustment

I would say they are closer to a 75 watt Equivalent;
It is a much colder feeling light;
It takes about 1 second to turn on and about 20-30 to reach full brightness. (hard to get used to)
All that said, I will definitely continue buying them because the benefits far outweigh the downsides, and I will probably be used to the changes after a little while.

These are oversized light bulbs as compared to normal, but they are not monster size or anything. They are also brighter than the average spiral bulb. Price is pretty good. The part that you screw in the lamp is normal sized.Customer Review: A Good Bulb to Buy

I recently purchased the bulb and they arrived in perfect condition contrary to past reviews. I installed them immediately and absolutely LOVED the light. I would definitely buy these again!
