Tools and Hardware Reviews of Good Earth Lighting, Inc. G9524CLR-I 24-Foot Rope Lighting, ClearCustomer Review: Bright Summary: 4 Stars
How much can I say about a string of lights? Let me just say that I brought these as a replacement for another string of lights that burned out.
What I like is this:
Lights are quite bright.
They are easy to install, and includes all the necessary clips.
Long power cord maximizes length of lights.
Customer Review: Works, but needs a little TLC Summary: 3 Stars
When I got these rope lights, there were several sections that did not light up. A little twisting and bending made them all work. Although there was 1 bulb that would never light up. I'm kind of worried if this set will hold up for very long outside, considering what they were like when they were new.
Clips are small and cheap, but get the job done.
The end connectors seem to be sealed very well and look sturdy. The power cord is nice and long.
Customer Review: Rope Light Review Summary: 3 Stars
Purchase process was easy. The product arrived in time. One of the 24 foot strings has a broken wire so about two feet does not light unless you twist and play with it. It is too small of an item to fool around trying to return, etc., so I just won't buy from that vendor again. I probably will not buy this type of product on line ever again. Live and learn.
Customer Review: Average and faulty Summary: 3 Stars
I bought these to light up my hut in Afghanistan and thought they worked fairly well. I then strung the rope up and where the rope bent at a loose 90 degrees that section has burnt out.
I would also like to have an on/off switch for this product as well.
Customer Review: 2 out of 3 were defective out of the box Summary: 2 Stars
My daughter needed these for a high school activity. Two of the three complete lengths of the rope light did not work. She had to purchase three additional lengths at the local ACE for the show.
Very poor quality control of this product. Would not purchase from this company in the future.
