This was my first air hose purchase but I did a fair amount of research before selecting this one. When it arrived, I was not disappointed. Its a quality rubber hose that lays flat even though it was shipped coiled up. I didn't care for the plastic hoses that come with most kits. The diameter of the hose is a nice and big to let plenty of air travel its 50'. It comes with male screw ends and will need a set of 'quick disconnects' to make it functional with the PC air compressor and Senco nailer that I purchased.Customer Review: Atypical connectors

This is an excellent deal on a great quality product, as everyone has already said.
FYI, both ends are threaded male connectors, which is unlike my other air hoses.
I actually bought it because the ends are not reinforced like some hoses, so it would fit through the 90° bends on some 1" electrical conduit I have going from my basement to my attic. These ends allowed it to fit, where another, smaller exterior diameter (same interior diameter) hose would not fit.

These rubber air hoses are light years better than the cheap plastic/pvc/vinyl air hoses that come with most compressors. Do yourself a huge favor and toss the cheap ones and buy yourself one of these GoodYear rubber hoses. The extra pennies spent will be well worth it to save yourself the aggregation of wrestling with the cheap hoses.
I was very pleased with the quality of these hoses and they are still holding up well after several years of abuse. I'd highly recommend these.

I purchased the Goodyear 045 3/8" by 50'air hose for one reason! It's the best they make. The air hose is made of reinforced rubber. I had a cheap plactic hose, knots every time you wanted to use it,or would colisipe and cut off the air supply and there you go trying to find and untangle it. Simple the rubber hose cost a little more but you will not have any of the above problems!! I purchased my rubber Goodyear air hose from Amazon .com. Lewis BakerCustomer Review: The Best air hose!

This is my second Goodyear, made in USA, air hose! I guess somebody needed my first one with my favorite 50' extension cord more than I did as it disappeared from the job site last week!
Oh well, they knew a good thing when they saw it.
This is my favorite air hose in the world. Well made, pliable and works perfectly. A perfect match for my DeWalt compressor also purchased from Amazon.
You can't go wrong with this purchase.
