This was the first accessory I purchased for my air compressor. The Porter Cable stock hose smells like rubber and has far too much spring action in it for my taste. The GoodYear hose has zero spring action and has a solid, durable feel to it that screams quality. Be advised that this hose comes with bare threaded ends so you will need to add any quick connects that you would like to use.Customer Review: Should have bought this years ago

For YEARS I have tripped and fumbled over, around and through my old air hoses in my barn... they had memory... when it would get cold they were stiff and impossible to manage.
Finally bought this rubber hose - wow. Just lays where you put it and when you move it - it stays there too. No memory issues and very flexible in the cold (18F).
Buy one - you won't be sorry!

I finally replaced my PVC air hose that I have had for years. I hated it from the time I first used it, but it worked so I kept using it. That hose finally started leaking pretty badly so I bought this hose. It is so much easier to manage than a PVC hose. I don't know that this air hose is better or worse than any other rubber air hose, but for the money you cannot go wrong.Customer Review: Great Hose

I found a great Porter Cable air compressor on Ebay but needed an airhose. The 50' hoses at Home Depot cost at least $39.99 or higher and weren't as high quality as this hose. I'm planning to buy another one of these since my compressor has dual a output and it'll be handy to have two hoses in my garage. Great hose Goodyear! I have one of these and an Orange Pliovic hose made by Goodyear. I prefer this yellow one because it does not stay coiled and will lay flat on the floor of my shop. I have stumbled on a loop of the orange hose on occassion. They are both excellent, durable hoses; this yellow rubber one just works better when you get it unrolled. It is worth the extra bucks!
