This is a nice quality hose at an affordable price. It is not too stiff and seems to be made of a nice heavy rubber. It does not take the shape of the reel after unwinding it allowing it to lay flat on the ground.Customer Review: Good product from Goodyear

I found this hose to be a good purchase. Have used it regularly since purchase and have found it to be flexible in all weather (15 degrees to above 90). It works much better than the plastic hose I also have.
