It's definitely a cheap flashlight. I bought one and used the heck out of it for about 2 months but it's broken now. Great bright light in a small package while it was going. I'd say I got my dollars worth out of it, but the build quality on this is flimsy and I would expect about the same longevity out of another unit like it. If you aren't expecting a mind-blowing revelation in lighting and just need a basic flashlight for small tasks, this could be exactly what you are looking for.Customer Review: Good Product

This product constantly surprises me - it's light weight, size and most of all the brilliance of the light. It is not recommended to point this in someones face; it can hurt the eyes! Very useful for mechanics to see in small cramped spaces in the engine bay, useful also for older folks with not so perfect vision. The only problem is that this "brilliance" is only for a short distance; if this product could project this powerful beam further, this product would be perfect!Customer Review: LED Flashlight

These LED flashlights are great when I first get them but the switch doesn't last very long. I've tried several different models and haven't had any luck yet. As far as light output, they're great compared to a regular flashlight.Customer Review: Good light for the price

The light is bright and compact, lasts a while on the AAA batteries. My only complaint is the contacts that the tip of the battery mates against is not very big so it does not always turn on with out giving it a tap or two.Customer Review: ok flashlight

I also bought the Neiko Super-Bright 9 LED Heavy-Duty Compact & this one was not much brighter. It also blinks on & off. Like 1 reviewer said, use good quality batteries - I think that might solve the problem.
