There must be something in the "porcelain" finish of this wok that erodes with cooking. The foul odor permeates any food cooked on it, and by the 3rd time of using, the food cooked on it had to be thrown out.
The company did issue a full refund, to their credit. But buyer beware about the safety of this product.
