I'm from New Hampshire and have eczema and suffer from frequent nosebleeds. This is the 5th or 6th humidifier I've owned and is by far the best. I don't like visible mist humidifiers so this one fit the bill. It's a large capacity and easily hydrates my son's bedroom. I like how easy it is to carry to the tub to fill. I also like the selection where you can choose ultimate humidity output or runtime. I find it's hum very soothing and use it instead of a fan during cold months as a white noise machine for my 3 year old. We have humidifiers in all bedrooms and this one is my favorite. If you want to know how much moisture is in the air, by a portable temperature/humidity reader you can move room to room until you get a feel which setting is best for your space, I usually aim for at least 45-50% but not much more unless you want to grow mold on your walls! Also please note that all humidifier filters will mold up if not used for a day or so and sometimes do so even then. It's normal.
