Love this stuff! Our dishwasher has a stainless steel inside. After a few months of use I started to notice that the inside was becoming cloudy and all of my glassware (and some hard plastic) was getting cloudy too -- I think because of hard water. I tried a commercial dishwasher cleaner I found in the supermarket and it cleaned the inside of the washer okay, but I didn't feel comfortable exposing my dishes/glasses to it because of the chemicals. I tried lemon juice and vinegar in glasses on the top rack with and without detergent. Not much result. Finally found this on Amazon. Read the + reviews and decided to try. Just got done washing my dishwasher with all of the cloudy glasses inside and yippee, they all look perfect again!Customer Review: Best Product EVER!!

I'm in Jacksonville FL with some of the hardest water you can imagine. Laundry whites are grey, colors are drab... dishwasher was so gunked up with soap scum and hard water deposits for over ten years, I wanted to scream. We were all set to go out and buy a new dishwasher when my NY sister (same awful hard water - maybe hers is worse) told me about Glisten. OMG - whoever invented this stuff needs to market it worldwide! It actually took three washes to rid my dishwasher of all the gunk, and I did have to go in and manually chip off some of the hardened stuff. I told my sister about the bathtub use and she tried it and cried with happy tears!! Thank you, thank you. Purchase yours in the 12 pk - way cheaper.Customer Review: Works GREAT!!!

We recently switched dishwasher detergent and we had a horrible smell in our dishwasher after that. We thought the new detergent was breaking everything down that the old stuff left behind which was the reason we had the smell. The problem was that the smell never went away, UNTIL we used Glisten that is! I ordered one package to see if it would work, and the smell was almost gone, plus our dishwasher even looked cleaner. I then ordered another package and used it which got rid of the entire smell and got the dishwasher even cleaner yet. One of our big reasons for picking this cleaner was because it is all natural. It turned out to be a blessing for our dishwasher and we will use every month!!!Customer Review: Did the job as advertised

My dishwasher started leaving deposits on my dishes, making my glassware look quite uninviting. I used Glisten, and the deposits ceased. Now, half my glassware already had deposits, and cleaning the *dishwasher* doesn't remove the existing deposits from the *dishes*, but it prevents new ones. The glassware that didn't yet have deposits and was washed after using Glisten didn't get any deposits. That's the job I expected from Glisten, and it worked.
For the dishes that already had deposits, I used LemiShine, which cleans deposits from the *dishes*. Between the two of them, I now have clean dishes, and a dishwasher that is not creating deposits on them.

I have tried other dishwasher cleaners in the past, and none really did anything, at least anything to take away the rust stains inside the tub. I live in the country and have well water, which stains everything with rust. I used 2 packs, one after the other, and couldn't believe it! Most of the rust was gone, and I did like the instructions said and wiped the rest off with a paper towel and a small amount of elbow grease. Almost every bit of the rest came completely off! Keep in mind, most of this rust had built up for over 5 years of use! I'm definitely going to order more, and try to use a pack every month or two, hopefully keeping the stains in check.
