We live in a hard water area, resulting in the entire dishwasher interior being coated every couple of months with a layer of hard white deposits. Those deposits clogged the water vents and kept the dishwasher from properly working. One cycle with this product cleared nearly all the deposits. When I ran through a load of dirty dishes afterwards, they gleamed without a trace of etching or calcium deposits. It felt like magic!
From now on, I will always have Glisten on-hand at our house.

My dishwasher wasn't visibly dingy, but it must have had hard water build-up because one or more of the jets was clogged. My dishes were not getting clean and the detergent was not being properly rinsed from them. After trying both vinegar and bleach, I bought this as a last ditch effort before calling a repairman or replacing the dishwasher. I am so happy that this $6 purchase saved me so much time and money. I just used it once and problem solved. I would highly recommend this product.Customer Review: works as advertised.

We recently replaced our diswasher because it just couldn't get our dishes clean. glasses had a ghastly film that ended up etching the glasses. We replaced our diswasher and were in heaven . . . for about 5 months when the identical problem returned. We ran Glisten once and we had no more problems. I'm sure we'll have to do it again as more hard water deposits build up, but this is a great product. Chances are that we probably replaced our diswasher unnecessarily.Customer Review: Does the Job

I have really hard water so over time my dishwasher will develop a filmy sort of residue on it, which also makes my glasses come out filmy. I have a brand new, top of the line (Kitchen Aid) dishwasher, so this was so frustrating. A Kitchen Aid service man came out to fix our ice maker and he told us about this product. Worked like magic! Although the first time, I used two packs, one right after the other because the build up was so bad. I love this product!Customer Review: Does it's job!

My dishwashers ~5 years old and I've never cleaned it. I had no idea I had too until my mother came for a visit and made a comment. To amazon I went!
This product contains a single use cleaner. The package contains a fine powder smelling of citric acid (I'd be surprised if there really is much else in it). Simply put the powder into an EMPTY washer and run it. The dishwasher comes out looking like new!
Highly recommended!
