I purchased two of these and they have preformed faultlessly.
I have a brick home and steel entrance doors and garage door. The remote sensor has had no trouble sending it's signal to the receiver, from 20-30 feet away. If you use more than one sensor, you will need to set each one up on it's own channel. (see included booklet)
The setup reads funny (like it reads backwards as to what you want to do) but I never experenced any problems.
I called the Heath Zenith's service department about this type of sensor and they were very helpful and based on their answers, I purchased the sensors. They recommended using Lithium batteries, due to the cold weather and said that the problems they have seen in forums concerning issues with this sensor, could have been avoided if people would just call the service department at Heath Zenith.
I would recommend this product to others.
