Description of Heath/Zenith BL-6136-WH Wireless Switch Outlet, White
Finish:White Wireless Switch Outlet Add light switch control to any plug-in device. Controls on and off up to 100 feet. Controls 500 watts incandescent and 400 watts fluorescent lighting and 1/3 hp motors. 1 Year warranty. Mostly assembled.If you want a outlet you can turn on and off with a switch (for a lamp, for example) but are uncomfortable doing your own wiring, Heath Zenith offers you a simpler alternative in the SL-6136-W. Just mount the switch and plug in the receiver and you're done-no hardwiring required.
This set gives you up to a 100-foot transmission range, and can be used with up to 500 watts incandescent or 300 watts fluorescent lighting. Note that you will need to supply a 9-volt battery for the wireless switch.--Josh Dettweiler

I had the As Seen on TV Swith - seller just said toss it, it did not work. I found another one and it lasted 4 months or so - and I do love these switches.Zenith - good quality and it works wonderful, it even feels bettr quality and workmanship - as seen on TV Switch a good idea, but quality of poor.I bought two - I love these for at night if you hear something in the yards - I have a lot of trees, etc., I can turn on the light and if someone is out there - beware. Getting up in dark, going down stairs - its range is fantastic.Couple of times I have taken it with me to the store - and before I go into the house turn on the light.I LOVE IT - the seller provided excellent service, and I intend to order a couple more of these for family...AS SOLD ON TV - their products I note I bought a Buston Bag based on ather - and believe me - looks nice POOR QUALITY - but for $49.00 I expected better and more - I ordered the higher grade - QUALITY COUNTS - stick to known brand names for quality - I miss billy Mays - he sure had one big line of - milarkey.Give the seller a 5 Star deal here - as usual you buy from Amazon - you are protected - the seller from whom I bought the As on TV Switch - also a good seller, but the product was not up to grade.A buyer
