The Heath Zenith SL-5316-WH-A gives you a 240-degree sensitivity zone, and the range is adjustable from 15 to 100 feet (the low range is convenient if you don't want your light going off every time a car drives by). It also features "Dual Brite" lighting, which means you can use it for low-level accent lighting in addition to the full-light effect you get with motion-activation. An included timer allows you to set low-light mode for three hours, six hours, or dusk to dawn (an automatic photocell deactivates the unit in daylight). The Heath-Zenith SL-5316-WH-B Replacement Wide-Angle Motion sensor started operation without a snag on the very first day. It's setting for medium range sensitivity performed admirably and without any secondary adjustment. I wished my original total ensemble started out as easy. I was a little leary of maybe having to putz around with it. But no, it delivered optimum performance from the get-go! I would recommend this sensor as an excellent replacement for anyone having difficulty operating the original ensemble equipment. It actually saved me a lot of money(about half) from having to buy a another whole unit.
