As others have stated, the beam does not cover the page. It is too narrow. What's worse, there is nothing to shield your eyes from the exposed LED's glare when it's aimed (as much as possible) at the page. Extremely irritating, eventually painful, especially in low light where a reading light is desirable. Complete junk. Well.......I was excited to read in bed w/ what looked like a great light for my kindle...ah...the aim is all wrong...
I only wish Id paid $.99 for it.
