ive had these fans for almost 2 years now. i love them! they fit in a variety of window sizes, so that's really helpful when you move often (like I do). they even come with extenders so you cna get an even better fit if necessary. you can turn them around to suck the air out of a room, which i do somewhat often as i am a smoker. i wouldnt call them whisper-quiet, but i wasnt expecting them to be. they arent loud though either, even on the highest speed. all in all, a great purchase, and well-worth the investment! :)Customer Review: Decent for what its worth!

I purchased this about 3-4 months ago and have not experienced any problems with this item. Although one little problem that I wish I didn't have is that this window fan does not completely fit into my window. I have to kind of try to make it fit but never takes me more than a few seconds to set it up even with that issue. If you plan to leave it in and it doesn't fit, you may have to tape up the openings so that it is more efficient. Either way, I got what I paid for and it does what I need it to do!Customer Review: Manually Rversible - Read Carefully

Holmes makes excellent fans & other products. Unfortunately, I didn't read the detailed description on this product before ordering. Both fan takes air in 1 direction. Therefore, if you want air coming in and going out then do not buy this fan. However, if you want air coming in or out both fans with only 1 direction at a time, then this fan will do the job. The fan operates somewhat quiet. Also make sure you measure the width of your window just in case if it doesn't fit.Customer Review: This fan is perfect!

This fan has been absolutely perfect for our needs. We have wildly fluctuating weather, so it's wonderful that this fan is light-weight enough to put in when we need it, and take out when it's hot enough to require the A/C. Using it has saved us from having to use A/C, except on the hottest days. It's quiet, and quickly cools down any room we use it on. I bought this thinking that it can be used as an exhaust fan for my kitchen. I don't like the smell of food inside the house so I gave this a try. It has two fan settings which in my opinion is a good option. Operational sound is quite loud but it works pretty well by circulating the air in the kitchen and removing that awful smelling fumes. Price is reasonable.
