16" stand fan with remote control for easy operation, patented blade provides 50% more air flow. It had adjustable height settings (44" - 52"). This fan has a sleep timer, breeze mode, and 3 speed settings. This fan comes with a 5 year warranty.Versatile, powerful, and super convenient, this Bionaire remote control standing fan helps cools off large rooms and circulates fresh air throughout the home. Equipped with a lighted electronic control pad, the fan features three speeds, though you may only need to use the lowest one, as it's very effective while remaining reasonably quiet. A breeze mode combines soft and stronger cycles and a sleep mode gradually winds the fan down and shuts it off. A timer function lets you set the fan to shut off up to eight hours in the future, an especially helpful feature for controlling the climate of the house while sleeping or away. Oscillation is optional with this model, and the 16-inch head tilts to the best angle for your needs. A maximum of 52 inches, its height is also adjustable. Adding convenience to easy programming, the fan comes with a remote control that stores onboard when not in use. Though not as quiet as some models, this fan is highly efficient, using 43 percent less energy than a standard 16-inch fan. Customer Review: Not enough noise for sleep

I bought this item when my other fan died. I use a fan for "white noise" while I sleep as it gives me a deeper, more restful sleep.
The other reviewers said that it had a good breeze on the low setting and was too noisy. So, I thought, "This is the fan for me." Boy, was I wrong. It is quieter than my last fan. It doesn't blow too strongly. I am waking up at night drenched in sweat!!
The only thing I like about this fan is that it is remote controlled. That is why it got 2 stars.
If you are like me and wanting this for the white noise it may produce. Skip it!
