This thing rocks! My girlfriend and I bought one for her crappy apt last year because I was freezing, and it heats up fast, does not smell like anything is burning, and can turn itself off with the convenient temp setting! This year, we have our own crappy apt, and it's still goin' strong! I love this thing! And it's kitten-proof! And no hike in our electric bill!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR THOSE ON A BUDGET!

LOVE IT! This is great! The tempature control lets me know that it shuts off and turns on. I can point the fan in any direction. Warms a small room quickly. the low fan setting is quite. The thermo/ temp setting is a lil off! It does the trick! My babies room is over the garage soo it is much cooler than the rest of house! This is an amazing heater. We didn't even run our furnace this winter. Just warmed the room we were in. Saved a bundle on electricity. Would heat a room up 20 degrees in less than 30 minutes. Best one we have had in 30+ years!!!!!
