This is an incredible value. I feel totally safe leaving a weapon unattended in this product. Mounted to a stud this is not coming off the wall without a fight. Then accessing the contents would be difficult as well. It can also be hidden behind cloths in any closet. This makes it difficult to find. I have a regular firearm fire safe that is for long term storage. However for the cost, this is the best product on the market.
This Item can secure a full sized firearm. I keep an H&K USP in one of mine.
At the price, I bought one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

I was hesitant to purchase this due to mixed reviews, but I'm VERY glad I did. I installed it permanently on the wall, changed the code to something easy to use and it works perfectly for my needs.
If you want something that is secure from children/grandchildren yet gives you access to your pistol very quickly in an emergency then this is the item to get. It was on sale when I got it and the price was incredibly cheap for what I got (even the MSRP I think is very reasonable).

The first one of these that arrived at my home had some problems. However, I called Homak and they told me to ship it to them and they would simply send a new one. "Great!" I thought. I was sure this would take 6-8 weeks. However, a new one showed up in about a week and a half and problem free. This has been a great way to have my pistol under my bed and not worry about kids finding something they shouldn't. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Gun Safe

I recently purchased and installed this product. I have a concealed weapons permit in Georgia but there are still some places that you can't carry. As a result, I purchased this safe and installed it under the back seat in my pick up truck. This way, my pistol is secured, the safe is away from prying eyes and is accessable by electronic combination lock when my business is completed.Customer Review: Good product, great value

This is a good product, and a good value. I use it to store a pistol. The kids cannot get the pistol without the code, and the code is in my head. I still keep the box hidden and out of reach (my children are young). When my children get older, I plan to explore buying a bigger safe. Meanwhile, this is perfect. I can get to the gun fast, but nobody else can.
