This trimmer was ordered to replace a competitive manufacturer's product. The latter was also reconditioned and lasted about 2 years before "giving up the ghost". It was the second one from this other manufacturer that died after a few years' weekend use for the same problem...impossible to start...even after trying all the online "DIY" suggestions...clean anti-spark screen, carburetor, new spark plug, etc.
I was most surprised when the Homelite Trimmer arrived. Shipping was ultra fast and the reconditioned trimmer looked brand new with the exception of a small branded ""RECON" on the underside. What a pleasure, excellent price, easy to start, light by comparison, easy to handle...and powerful. I would recommend it as a best-buy for anyone interested.
