Easy to install, excellent instructions. very accurate. why would you want to lower how accurate the temperature probe is, if you want it to not hold the temp within 1 degree then raise/lower the temp so it kicks in later, duhhh. I have had several different brands of home depot supplied thermostats and they all are junk and inaccurate compared to this one. even my last Honeywell thermostat was 4 degrees off compared to this, the PRO line is the way to go!Customer Review: Easty to install, works great

My teenage son can't believe I installed this and programmed it myself. It was very easy. Just write down on a piece of paper the letters for where the wires go in your old thermostat and put them in the corresponding places in this one. As soon as I powered up this unit it worked, and I had all the wires in place. Directions are in plain English (and Spanish) and easy to understand.Customer Review: works like a charm

Buy this and use it. You will pay for it the first year you have it. Then, if it's like the old Honeywell Chromotherm III it replaced it will last 10+ years. The price is dirt cheap for this on Amazon. I gave 150.00 for my first one in 1994.Customer Review: It works

I haven't had any problems with this thermostat. We had replaced a very old one and now we don't have to fight over temperature setting, or me having to wait until its warm enough to get up. Presetting and scheduling this is a wonder feature!
